7/15/10 -- MIPPA's website is getting a facelift. Many features of the site will be down for the next few weeks. MIPPA's staff apologizes for the inconvenience.

4/23/10 -- MIPPA's Executive Director plans to meet with Consumer's Energy in June regarding Michigan Sustainable Energy Coalition's stances. MIPPA's members are invited to submit comments and suggestions prior to the meeting.

4/1/10 -- MIPPA's Executive Director met with Andy Such today to discuss the stances of the Michigan Sustainable Energy Coalition.

Granholm declares herself “bullish on wind power”
On 4/21/10, Gov. Jennifer Granholm spoke at the wind energy conference. She stated, “I’m so bullish on wind power as a way to diversify manufacturing in the state. We want to be the place where climate change solutions are researched, developed and produced."

MPSC Releases MIREC’s FAQ
On March 30, the MPSC released a staff advisory that answered frequently asked questions regarding the Michigan Renewable Energy Certification System in response to issues raised by several electric providers. Read the advisory here.
